Olivia Howard Chooses SMC
Olivia Howard of Haines City High School in Haines City, Florida, has chosen Southwestern Michigan College to continue her studies and will play women's basketball for the Roadrunners starting in Fall 2026.
Head Coach Ariana Dampier said, "We're excited to welcome Olivia to our roster! She brings speed, height, aggression, and experience that will immediately elevate our program. Olivia's ability to run the floor, finish at the rim, and rebound in traffic gives us a big boost to our inside game. She is super athletic, highly competitive, and has the versatility to impact both ends of the floor. We're looking forward to watching her grow and contribute to SMC."
Howard joins Amaya Henderson of Oak Park, Illinois, Jayla Tyler of Chicago Heights, Illinois, La'Niya Willis of Plainfield, Illinois, and Jessica Thornton of Niles, Michigan, in the 2026 SMC Women's Basketball recruiting class.
