Tyrese Moody to Play Basketball for SMC

Tyrese Moody of Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School has signed his NJCAA Letter of Intent to continue his academic and basketball career with the SMC Roadrunners.

SMC Head Coach Rodell Davis said, ""Ty is a high character young man and a grinder. He will bring a physical style of play to our front court, while being a great leader and teammate on and off."

Moody joins teammate Brieland Watkins of Grand Rapids and Kenaz Jackson, Jr. and Myair Thompson, both of Kankakee, Illinois, in the 2026 SMC Men's Basketball recruiting class.
