Myair Thompson Picks the Roadrunners
Myair Thompson of Kankakee High School in Illinois has signed his NJCAA Letter of Intent to continue his academic and basketball career with the SMC Roadrunners.
Coach Chris Pickett of Kankakee said, "Myair is a grinder who has gotten better and better because of his work ethic. He knows what it takes to be good and he knows what it takes to win games. That's a good combination for a college-bound guard."
SMC Head Coach Rodell Davis added, "We are extremely excited to add Myair to the Roadrunner basketball family. He excels in the classroom and is a great leader on and off the court. He is a proven winner that is capable of adding immediate help on both ends of the court. He's a strong guard that will be a lock down defender and has an offensive skill set that will translate to the college level."
Thompson is the first member of the 2026 SMC Men's Basketball recruiting class.
