Taylor Sill Chooses to Run at SMC

Taylor Sill of Berrien Springs High School has signed her NJCAA Letter of Intent to run cross country for Head Coach Zac Sartori and the Roadrunners starting in Fall 2026. Sill will also compete in track and field for SMC.

Coach Sartori said, "I can't wait to get Taylor on campus and training with us. She's been improving and dual sporting over the past few years and I'm confident she'll make some great strides for us as she joins our program. Her talent is apparent and I look forward to watching her grow as an athlete."

Sill joins Tana Drobek of Mattawan and Jocelyn Kiner of Dowagiac in the 2026 SMC Women's Cross Country recruiting class.

In September 2025, the Roadrunners shocked the field and won the MCCAA Western Conference championship on their home course in Dowagiac. The team then finished the season ranked 18th in the country after competing in the NJCAA National Championships in unseasonably cold and snowy conditions at the Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
