Emily King Now a Roadrunner
Emily King of Martin High School has signed her NJCAA Letter of Intent to run cross country for Coach Zac Sartori and the Roadrunners. King will also compete in track and field for SMC.
Coach Sartori said, ""Emily is a very talented young lady and her excitement for the sport is really inspiring. I can't wait to have her on campus. I just know she's going to be such a positive force for us and I can't wait to see what she can do."
Coach Kristin Evers added, "Emily has been a student-athlete, captain and leader for the Martin Clipper Cross Country team. More importantly, she is a dedicated student and supportive teammate. I am proud of her commitment to her high school career and know that she will be a successful runner for Southwestern Michigan College."
King is the second member of SMC's 2025 Women's Cross Country recruiting class, joining Lillian Wolf of Hartford.
Student-athletes interested in competing on any of SMC's nine intercollegiate teams as a Roadrunner should complete the Recruiting Form at https://smcroadrunners.com/landing/index
