Volleyball Defeated by GRCC in Semis
The Southwestern Michigan College Volleyball Team, championship of the Western Conference, lost to GRCC Saturday in the MCCAA Championship Semifinal 25-21, 25-17, 25-19. "It was a great honor to compete in the MCCAA Semifinal today and get a chance to face off against GRCC - who we will likely see again next week at the Great Lakes Districts," said Head Coach Jenny Nate. "Although we were prepared for this match, we were definitely a little tense today, and that affected our level of consistency. This was a great preview of what postseason tournaments are like for our freshmen, and we will look forward to analyzing film from this match and getting back to work on Monday preparing for Districts."
The Roadrunners are now 26-7 overall.
