Volleyball Heads to MCCAA Championship

Volleyball Heads to MCCAA Championship

SMC Volleyball travels to Port Huron on Saturday, November 1, for the MCCAA Championship tournament. The three conference division champions play for title of full association champion, with the host team getting an automatic bye and the other two facing off first.

This year, the Eastern Champion host is the St. Clair Skippers, so they will play the winner of the Southwestern Michigan Roadrunners (Western Champion) vs. the Grand Rapids Raiders (Northern Champion) semi-final, which takes place at 12:00 noon in Port Huron.

The MCCAA tournament does not impact the seeding of the two NJCAA Great Lakes District tournaments, which begin on Wednesday, November 5 in Grand Rapids. The district tournament winners will qualify for the NJCAA National Championship tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, which begins Wednesday, November 19.
