SMC Sweeps LMC in Dig Pink Game
The Southwestern Michigan College Volleyball Team swept LMC Tuesday night in a key conference road win 25-14, 25-20, 25-22. "This was a big win tonight for us," Head Coach Jenny Nate shared. "LMC was scrappy, and their attackers really came on the second set, but it was a good test for us again on the road to control the tempo and energy on the court, especially when we found ourselves down a couple times in the third set. This team practices winning close games in the 20's every single day at practice, and their confidence and ability to focus and score in tight matches is definitely earned. We walked onto the bus and began discussing film on KVCC as that is our sole focus now; we are only keyed in on the next match ahead of us."
The Roadrunners are now 23-5 overall and 8-0 in the conference.
