Volleyball is Top of the Table
The Southwestern Michigan College Volleyball Team swept Kellogg Tuesday night in a key home conference match to take sole possession of first place in the West. "We worked hard to prepare for tonight," said Head Coach Jenny Nate. "We knew we would face tough attackers and a challenging block, but our film study and attack plan really worked. We made sure that all of our attackers knew Kellogg's weak spots defensively and we prepared various ways for our hitters to score along with adding in our strong block, tough serving, and great defensive plays. It was a great win, but we know we have to work to improve and add to our game daily, and now we go full force tomorrow preparing to face Glen Oaks."
The Roadrunners are now 5-0 in conference play and 15-4 overall, with a trip to Glen Oaks to finish the first pass through the conference.
