Roadrunners Sweep Red Hawks
The Southwestern Michigan College Volleyball Team swept LMC in the 1st Source Bnk Fieldhouse in conference play Thursday night 25-14, 25-11, and 25-22. "We were well prepared for this match," said Head Coach Jenny Nate. "We studied a lot of film, planned our attacks at practice, and executed. Our balancing scoring throughout all of our attackers definitely played a positive role in our score differentials, and our setters made great decisions really spreading the sets around. Our defense and serve receive was consistent, and we had a great night blocking. It was truly a team effort and the win was earned at practice. Every one of these ladies gives full effort and hustle every day, so when the matches come, we are prepared and ready. We will celebrate this win tonight, but tomorrow we are back to work preparing to face KVCC next Tuesday."
The Roadrunners are now 10-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
