SMC Volleyball’s Bachinski Earns Athletic Scholarship
Natalie Bachinski, a 2025 graduate of Three Rivers High School and current SMC Volleyball player, has earned an athletic scholarship for 2025-2026 and has signed her LOI, per Head Coach Jenny Nate.
"Natalie is an outstanding defensive player who is calm and collected on and off the court," Nate said. "She comes from a top high school program at Three Rivers and has high-level experience with Joe Valley Volleyball Club, where she also set. She is versatile, tough, and is a total team player and leader. We are excited to have her on the team and as a part of the Southwestern Michigan Volleyball program. She's worked hard and earned this."
Three Rivers Varsity Coach Megan Jergens added, "Natalie is a player every coach wishes they had more of. She is extremely hard-working, driven, and accountable, no matter her role. She will always do whatever the team needs her to do. Natalie is one of the most selfless players that I have ever coached and truly wants everyone around her to succeed. I am so proud that all of her hard work is paying off. SMC got a great one!"
So far this season, the freshman has been used in light rotation, playing in five sets in five different matches, recording three digs. The Roadrunners are 7-3 overall and host the Muskegon Jayhawks for a non-conference home opener in the 1st Source Bank Fieldhouse on Tuesday, September 9, at 6:30pm.
