Volleyball Wins Both in Ohio Friday
The Southwestern Michigan College Volleyball Team had a great day one at the Owens Invitational on Friday, beating Lakeland 25-17, 25-17, 25-17, and then beating Harper in four sets 20-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-23. "With each tough match, this team is gaining confidence, and we are doing a great job of balancing out our attacking, and our team hitting percentage is going up each match. This group is so fun to coach and watch; they have great chemistry, and their daily blocking work is really showing up in our stats which is a big part in our wins. We just have to stay focused on our goals and keep improving daily. We are looking forward to getting some rest tonight and hitting the court early tomorrow morning to get back at it against two more tough teams."
The Roadrunners are now 6-2.
