Kaylynn Taylor Picks SMC
Kaylynn Taylor of Summit Academy North in Romulus, Michigan, has chosen Southwestern Michigan College to continue her education and play women's basketball for the Roadrunners starting in Fall 2026.
Head Coach Ariana Dampier said, "We're excited to welcome her into our program. She's a sweet, kind-hearted young lady who represents the values we emphasize every day. Her length and versatility, with the ability to impact the game both inside and out, will be a significant asset as we continue building a winning culture. She's very independent, family-oriented, and brings the type of character, work ethic, and presence that align with what we expect from our student-athletes."
Taylor joins Laila Collier-White of Racine, Wisconsin, Kinah Dyer of Hamtramck, Michigan, Olivia Howard of Haines City, Florida, Amaya Henderson of Oak Park, Illinois, Jayla Tyler of Chicago Heights, Illinois, La'Niya Willis of Plainfield, Illinois, and Jessica Thornton of Niles, Michigan, in the 2026 SMC Women's Basketball recruiting class.
