Women's Basketball Splits Last Week

SMC Women's Basketball won one and lost one this week, but did get their first home win of the season on Saturday.

On Wednesday at the College of Lake County, the Roadrunners were defeated 61-44. The team struggled to make shots, shooting just 22% from three-point range, 27% overall and 57% from the line. Sophomore guard Rayvan Rush led the team with 13 and sophomore Kayla Johnson added 10.  

Saturday, the Roadrunners bounced back with a win in the 1st Source Bank Fieldhouse, beating the Joliet Junior College Wolves 75-56. 

Next up is another home non-con vs. the Hocking College Hawks on Thursday, December 11, at 5:30 pm.
