Zack Mitchell Picks SMC

Zack Mitchell of Kalamazoo Christian High School has signed his NJCAA Letter of Intent to run cross country for Head Coach Zac Sartori and the Roadrunners. Mitchell will also compete in track and field for SMC.

Coach Sartori said, "Zack comes to us highly recommended not only by his coach, but also by one of our own athletes, Gavin Sehy, who ran against him in Kalamazoo. I met with Zack and his family last fall and I can see why they were so highly recommended. Zack is a great young man and I'm looking forward to seeing how he competes. I'm confident that once he joins our program he's going to help us continue to elevate and grow."

Coach Jeff Offringa said, "Zack has been a great asset to our cross country and track teams. He puts in the training, works hard, and races tough."

Mitchell is the fifth member of SMC's 2025 Men's Cross Country recruiting class, joining Owen Saylor of Dowagiac, Maguire Johnson of Edwardsburg, Tyler Caruso of Bangor and Carlos Ruiz-Garcia of Hartford.
