Men's Basketball Defeated at GRCC

SMC Men's Basketball fell to 8-9 overall on the season and 1-2 in the Western Conference with a 97-64 loss at Grand Rapids Community College on Saturday. 

The Roadrunners trailed by 15 at the half, and it was much of the same in the second half as the Raiders extended the lead to put the game away. SMC was led by freshman Jovohn Ratliff and sophomore Davion Goins who had 13 points each, with freshman Deuce Weston and Jaylen Ingram adding ten each. 

Next up, the Roadrunners host KVCC in the 1st Source Bank Fieldhouse on Wednesday, January 21 at 7:30 pm. (Note: There will not be a women's game prior, as the Cougars are not fielding a women's team this season.)
