Men's Basketball Drops Two to Start December

SMC Men's Basketball battled two good teams this week, but lost both, one away and one home, to move to 4-5 on the season. 

On Wednesday at the College of Lake County, the Roadrunners took the L 88-74. Sophomore Davion Goins had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, sophomore Damontae May added 17 and 7, while freshman Jovohn Ratliff shot well and had 15. 

Saturday at home, SMC lost to the #14-ranked Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers 96-82. Goins led all scorers with 32 points, second all-time for Roadrunner points in a single game. Ratliff was perfect from the free-throw line and added 19 points. 

Next up is a home tilt vs. the Hocking College Hawks on Thursday, December 11 at 7:30pm.
