Men's Basketball Gets Road Win at Muskegon

SMC Men's Basketball gutted out a road win in Muskegon on Saturday, taking down the Jayhawks 83-78 on 50% shooting from three-point range. The Roadrunners enjoyed a 9-point lead at halftime, but Muskegon clawed back and the game was tied with just a couple of minutes to go. SMC buckled down, hit their shots down the stretch and came away with their first road W, pushing their record up to 4-3 on the season.

The Green and Gold were led by sophomore Anthony Brady, who shot 4 of 5 from behind the arc and piled up 18 points off the bench. Sophomore Davion Goins double-doubled with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and freshman Jovohn Ratliff hit 3 of 5 from downtown plus all of his free throws for 14 points. Damontae May and Jaylen Ingram each added 11.

The Roadrunners have a break for Thanksgiving, then lace them up again at the College of Lake County on Wednesday, December 3.
